Recorded on tape - 8 new tracks accompany the arrival of the summer sun, hypnotizing your senses like a long walk through the rainforest, rising like bubbles from the ocean floor, crying out like the distant call of voluptuous sirens.
The live drums hit hard and wild while the sound remains polished and solid, balancing the sensitive feel with an uncompromising air of self-confidence. Anolog frequencies drive the keyboard stylings towards an intentional simplicity, building melodies with much more feeling than complexity. Their general attitude is to ‘stay true to the recipe without checking the cookbook’.
BR&CP decided to invite some of their friends into the mix: Débruit and his talkbox get down on ‘Ange-Toussaint’ and Fulgeance & Kondor tweak their beach toys and deliver tasty remixes of two songs previously featured on the Musique Large 10-inch release, ‘Superman’. The mixtape floats and reverebrates in the shifting tide... while the melodies echo, blend and dive into the horizon, like the last rays of the setting sun.
